New areas covered include holograms, audio and audio-visual streamingservice royalties, new types of record and music publishing deals, foreign countryroyalties, songwriter advances and guarantees and even the deal structure andnegotiations involved in making a movie or tv series out of the story and lyrics of asong. Every chapter has been updated-just invaluable information and advice foranyone involved in music.Thanks Brabec brothers.

The authors, who are well-known in their own right, have mastered the art of providing authoritative information without being overwhelming. A comprehensive table of contents and index make for easy navigation. Everything is here: business cases, music history, contracts, sample contracts, royalties, listings of organizations, and copyright nuance. How many have even imagined the business models of karaoke, theme parks, tee-shirts, and ring tones; making money with musicals or being paid from the cloud. No need to worry.
