Kudos! You knocked it out of the park with this book. I’ve been purchasing, reading, following and watching this woman improve her craft since (?) ‘07. The selection and colors of the pictures are spot on; the text is not “all about me”. Debra has examples from all over the US and some from other parts of the world. The book is a treasure, and I’ve only been through it once. Have fun!

I am just beginning with succulents and this book is AMAZING - I would recommend it to ANYONE that loves succulents and wants some terrific tips and tricks. The photos are beautiful and covers it all from growing, propagating, designing and sick succulents. It is heaven. I also watch Debra on YOUTUBE but her book is such an inspiration and handy reference.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, the new edition! Hold it in your hands and you will tell yourself, "now that's a book!" From the colorful succulent covered hardback cover (with raised lettering that tempts you to feel its richness), to the masses of beautiful photos and well organized content, you will be awed, educated, and inspired. I am proud to add another of Debra's books to my gardening\horticulture book collection.

Update: June 2018 - DON'T purchase for Kindle. I purchased for my kindle and purchased the one 'with pictures'. BOY what a disappointment. I thought that would mean it would be just like the book. wow, not at all. there are pictures, and very good pictures, with good details. But some of the photos in the book don't seem to be in the kindle verision. I'm glad I purchased it when it was really really ($1.50) cheap or I'd be really really mad.love the book, A friend loaned me her book so I could get a look at it. It is wonderful, I couldn't buy it fast enough. Great details, great photos, great information.

Designing with SucculentsOn returning from vacation I was very excited to see that this had been delivered. As I sat down to browse it I found myself reading it as if it was a wonderful novel. A picture novel, Debra's words painted as vivid as the photographs she had inserted. I was at page 70 before I knew it. Amazing book to see and to read.

The second edition of Designing with Succulents has all the great information about succulents and design that's in the first edition but goes much further, with many more, new and beautiful photos, fresh ideas, tips and advice. I especially love the featured gardens that start every chapter. It's mainly about growing succulents in the ground, so if you're into succulents in pots, you may want to also get Debra's earlier book and one of my favs, Succulent Container Gardens. Thank you, Debra Lee Baldwin, for sharing your expertise and gorgeous photos.

This is a gorgeous and inspirational book. I have her previous books. Each one becomes even better as she updates her sample gardens.

Designing with Succulents is just like its author - passionate, inventive and practical. Debra Lee Baldwin has outdone herself with this second edition. Every page brims with beauty and inspiration - a feast for the eyes and soul!
