My parents "got religion" in their late 20s while in the tundra of Alaska. Raised in a Fundamentalist Christian Church, I got the notion of spirit and the power of focus and prayer. But once the service was over, so was all discussion of the magic and freedom (and responsibility) I had just heard from the pulpit. At the end of the story, the woman is moving and catches a string of lights from the garage next to her and rather than stopping, lets the string rip off the garage exterior as Tosha and the other tenants watch the commotion trailing behind her. I love this book! My husband bought if for me when he accidentally stumbled upon it on Amazon. It was very eye opening and spoke to me everyday! It changed my paradigms about the Law of Attraction and how to listen to Source energy (aka the Divine Order). Through Tosha’s stories I have been able to forgive, follow my inner voice, and just feel more relaxed as well as loved by applying her suggestions/ advice! A friend told me about this book. As a writer and author myself, I found Tosha Silver's words welcoming and connecting. The short chapters/stories allow for reading it in bits and pieces; nice for those leading a busy life. It has been a long time since I underlined and starred so many passages in a book. There are many meaningful words of wisdom, quotes, along with suggested prayers that provide guidance to connecting with the Divine and "trusting the process;" a mantra I also began to use in my early thirties. This book inspires deeper reflection and trust in the Universe. I liked it so much that I ordered a copy for my daughter's birthday; she is in her thirties. The only hiccup for me was the occasional mention of detailed astrology terms. I believe in astrology readings, but found the details distracting. That said, as an intuitive myself, I was reminded of ways to strengthen my spiritual practice and connection with the Divine. This is an important read for those who are looking for support and encouragement as they learn to trust their intuition and trust the Universe!

This book blew me away! 18 years ago I read the book, The Game of Life and How to Play it, by Florence Scovel Shinn and it changed my life in the best positive ways. Outrageous Openness is a fantastic modern day version that contains so many timeless truths that can empower and set you free from self imposed limitations. I breezed through this book with a light and happy heart. I couldn't put it down. It's one to be read and referenced many times over!
